What does the vehicle inspection process involve?
Our skilled inspectors will conduct a thorough evaluation of the vehicle, covering over 150 checkpoints. This includes examining the exterior body, brake system, cooling components, suspension, heating and air conditioning systems, tires, fluid levels, and the general outward condition. They will also capture numerous photos of both the interior and exterior. Using advanced diagnostic tools, the inspector will scan the vehicle for any error codes. Additionally, with the vehicle owner’s approval, the inspector will perform a 5-mile test drive to assess its performance.
How will I receive my inspection report?
Your pre-purchase inspection report will be delivered to you via email. The email will contain a PDF form allowing you to view the report online, as well as options to download or print it for your records.
Will the inspector use a lift during the inspection?
Our inspectors carry out the evaluation at the vehicle’s location. If a lift is available at the site, they may ask the owner for permission to use it. However, this isn’t always possible. If a lift isn’t present or the owner declines its use, the inspector will not be able to lift the vehicle for the inspection.
Can I cancel my scheduled inspection?
Yes, you may cancel your pre-purchase inspection, but cancellations are only accepted if made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time.
Do you offer refunds if the seller doesn’t show up for the inspection?
Unfortunately, we do not provide refunds if the seller is unavailable or the vehicle cannot be inspected due to the owner’s absence. Our inspector will contact the seller beforehand to confirm the vehicle’s availability. If the vehicle isn’t available at the scheduled time,
Does Carcheckpros share my report with anyone else?
